What we need help with

There's a lot to keep up with — 35 Senate seats, 435 House races, fundraising data, voting records, candidate profiles, and we're trying to make all of it accessible to people who don't follow politics for a living.

Here's where we need the most help right now:

Data Enrichment — help keep candidate profiles, fundraising numbers, and voting records up to date. Most of the tools are already built out — it's really just that there are a lot of candidates and we want to keep things current over time. No strict schedule, just pitch in when you can.
Content Writing — write guides, explainers, breakdowns, or think pieces that help people understand what they're voting on. If you have ideas for content we're not already doing, we're open to that too.
Social Media — post about The Midterm Project on your own platforms to help more people find us.

What to expect

This is flexible and remote — you work on your own time. But we're looking for people who are genuinely excited about this and willing to treat it like it matters. If you're here, be here.
