Larry Rhoden is the Republican Governor of South Dakota, who succeeded Kristi Noem in January 2025 when she resigned to become U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security in the Trump administration. He previously served as Lieutenant Governor (2019–2025) and in the South Dakota Legislature. He is seeking a full term in 2026.
