Ned Lamont is the Democratic Governor of Connecticut, first elected in 2018 and reelected in 2022. A businessman who founded the cable company Lamont Digital Systems, he previously challenged Sen. Joe Lieberman from the left in 2006, winning the Democratic primary before losing the general election. He is seeking a third term in 2026.
