Dayna Marie Foster is a Democratic candidate for Florida governor in 2026. A South Florida native raised by a single mother, she teaches math at her alma mater Fort Lauderdale High School and previously worked at the Broward County Library's African American Research Library and Cultural Center. She holds a B.S. in Finance from FAU, a Master of Science in Finance from FIU, and a Master of Science in Information from FSU, and is currently pursuing a B.S. in Political Science at FSU.
