Chris Carr is the Republican Attorney General of Georgia, appointed in 2016 and elected in 2018 and 2022. He previously served as Commissioner of the Georgia Department of Economic Development and as chief of staff to U.S. Sen. Johnny Isakson. Carr launched his gubernatorial campaign in late 2024.
