Ron DeSantis is the 46th Governor of Florida, serving since 2019, and a former U.S. Representative from Florida's 6th Congressional District (2013-2018). A Republican, Yale-educated attorney and former Navy SEAL legal advisor, he was first elected governor in 2018 and reelected in 2022 with a 19.4% margin, one of the largest in recent state history. He is running for reelection as governor in 2026.
